Installation guide

Go to trackingwebscript.com to browse the available tracking website scripts. Choose the design you want and check the live demo before purchasing.

Create an account on TrackingWebScript. Enter your correct information and keep your login details safe because you will use this account to access your orders and purchased scripts.

Browse the available tracking website templates. Open the live demo of the script you are interested in and check the design and available features. When you find the one you want, proceed to purchase.

Complete the checkout process for your selected script.

After successful payment, log in to your account and follow the provided instructions to access or download your purchased files.

Keep the ZIP file safe. You will need it during installation.

Create a Hostinger Account

Content:
Go to hostinger.com and create an account.

If you already have a Hostinger account, simply log in.

Choose a hosting plan that meets the requirements of your purchased script.

Complete your payment and wait for your hosting account to become active.

Choose a professional domain name for your real logistics, courier, cargo, or delivery business.

Example:

yourcompany.com

Register the domain and connect it to your hosting account.

Make sure your domain is connected to the correct Hostinger hosting account.

If your domain was purchased from another provider, configure the DNS or nameservers according to the information provided by your hosting provider.

Log in to Hostinger and select the website where you want to install your tracking script.

Open the website management dashboard.

From Hostinger hPanel, open File Manager.

Go to your website's main directory, normally:

public_html

This is where your website files will be installed.

Inside public_html, click Upload and select the tracking website ZIP file you downloaded from TrackingWebScript.

Wait until the upload reaches 100%.

Select the uploaded ZIP file and click Extract.

Make sure the actual website files are inside the correct website directory.

Open the database section of your hosting account and create a new MySQL database.

Save your:

Database Name
Database Username
Database Password
Database Host

Go to your hosting control panel and open phpMyAdmin.

Select the MySQL database you created in Step 13.

Click Import, select the .sql file included with your tracking website script, and click Import/Go.

Wait until you see a successful import message.

Go to File Manager → public_html and locate the .env file.

Right-click the file and select Edit.

Find the database settings:

DB_CONNECTION=mysql
DB_HOST=localhost
DB_PORT=3306
DB_DATABASE=
DB_USERNAME=
DB_PASSWORD=

Enter the database information you saved in Step 14.

Example:

DB_CONNECTION=mysql
DB_HOST=localhost
DB_PORT=3306
DB_DATABASE=YOUR_DATABASE_NAME
DB_USERNAME=YOUR_DATABASE_USERNAME
DB_PASSWORD=YOUR_DATABASE_PASSWORD

Do not copy the example values. Enter your own database credentials.

Click Save when finished.

Important: Never share your .env file or database password publicly.

While editing the .env file, find:

APP_URL=

Change it to your actual website URL.

Example:

APP_URL=https://yourdomain.com

Make sure you use your own domain and save the changes.

This tracking website script requires PHP 8.3 to work correctly.

Before continuing with the installation, make sure your hosting account is using PHP 8.3.

If you are using Hostinger:

Log in to your Hostinger hPanel.
Go to Websites.
Click Dashboard or Manage next to your website.
Search for PHP Configuration.
Open PHP Configuration.
Select PHP 8.3.
Save or update the PHP version.

Wait for the change to take effect before continuing.

Required PHP Version: PHP 8.3

Important: Do not use an older PHP version for this script. Using an incompatible PHP version can cause errors, blank pages, or prevent the website from loading.

Open your domain in your browser:

https://yourdomain.com

If PHP 8.3, your database, and .env configuration are correct, your tracking website should load.

If you receive an error, check:

• PHP is set to 8.3
• Database name is correct
• Database username is correct
• Database password is correct
• Database host is correct
• .env file was saved correctly

After your website is successfully installed, you can access the administration dashboard.

Add /admin after your domain name.

Example:

https://yourdomain.com/admin

Use the default administrator login details supplied with the script:

Admin Email:
admin@admin.com

Default Password:
admin123
Click Login to access your admin dashboard.

Important: These are default installation credentials. Change the administrator email and password immediately after your first login to protect your website.

The Admin Dashboard is where you manage and customize your tracking website.

From the dashboard, you can access the different settings included with your script and control the information displayed on your website.

In this video, we will show you where everything is located before you start making changes.

Before customizing your website, secure your administrator account.

Go to your administrator profile or account settings and change the default login credentials.

Change:

• Admin Name
• Admin Email
• Admin Password

Create a strong password that is different from the default password.

Save your changes and use your new credentials the next time you log in.

Go to your website settings from the Admin Dashboard.

Replace the demo information with the correct information for your business.

Update information such as:

• Website Name
• Company Name
• Business Description
• Email Address
• Phone Number
• Business Address
• Opening Hours

Click Save after making your changes.

Open your website in another browser tab and refresh the page to confirm the changes.

From your Admin Dashboard, locate the website branding or logo settings.

Upload your own:

• Website Logo
• Header Logo
• Footer Logo
• Favicon

Use clear, professional images that represent your business.

Save the changes and refresh your website.

Go to the Live Support or Chat settings available in your Admin Dashboard.

Replace any demo support information with your own legitimate customer-support details.

Depending on the features included with your script, you may be able to configure:

• Live Chat
• WhatsApp Support
• Support Phone Number
• Support Email
• Chat Widget/Script

Save your settings and test the support option from the public website.

Open the contact or general settings section.

Replace the demo information with your actual business information.

Update:

• Business Address
• Phone Number
• Email Address
• Support Email
• Opening Hours

Make sure customers can use the information to genuinely contact your business.

Click Save Changes when finished.

Find the social media settings in your Admin Dashboard.

Add the genuine social media profiles used by your business, where supported.

You may be able to configure:

• Facebook
• Instagram
• TikTok

Configure your website contact form so customer messages are sent to the correct business email.

Add your receiving email address and configure the available contact-form settings.

Send a test message from the public website after saving.

Confirm that the message arrives in your inbox.

Configure your website email settings so legitimate system and contact-form emails can be delivered reliably.

Use the SMTP details supplied by your email provider.

You may need:

• SMTP Host
• SMTP Port
• SMTP Username
• SMTP Password
• Encryption Type
• Sender Email
• Sender Name

Never publish your SMTP password or other private credentials.

Send a test email after completing the setup.

Open the shipment or tracking management section of your Admin Dashboard.

Here you can create and manage legitimate shipment records.

You can configure the information supported by your script, such as:

• Tracking Number
• Sender Information
• Receiver Information
• Origin
• Destination
• Shipment Description
• Shipment Status
• Date and Time
• Tracking History

Only enter genuine shipment and tracking information.

After creating a test shipment, copy its tracking number.

Open your public website and enter the tracking number into the tracking form.

Confirm that the correct test information appears.

If everything displays correctly, your tracking system is working.
